Imada Prepares for First FedEx Cup Playoff Event

After a week off from PGA Tour play, Ryuji Imada will tee it up again this week at The Barclays in Jersey City, NJ. The tournament, which is the first of the four-tournament FedEx Cup Playoffs, will be held at Liberty National Golf Club. Imada will compete for a share of the tournament’s $7.5 million purse and 2,500 FedEx Cup Points.

Imada has played in 21 events during the 2009 season and has carded seven Top-25 finishes, including a T14 finish at the Memorial in June. Imada has earned $682,562 in 2009 and currently ranks 90th in the PGA Tour’s Fed Ex Cup Standings with 499 points.

At the Barclays, Imada will tee off at 12:16 pm EDT off the 10th tee on Thursday with Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose. The group will start off the 1st tee at 7:26 am EDT on Friday.
