Ryuji Imada missed only his sixth cut of the season at the PGA Championship in Chaska, MN. Imada shot a 7-over par 151 (76-75) through the first two rounds at Hazeltine National Golf Club. Y.E. Yang outlasted Tiger Woods to win the PGA Championship on Sunday afternoon.
Imada, who participated in all four major championships in 2009 for the first time in his carer, has played in 21 events, earning $682,562. He has six top-25 finishes and currently sits in 82nd place in the PGA’s FedEx Cup standings with 499 points.
Imada will take a week off before returning to action at the first FedEx Cup Playoff event, The Barclays (August. 27-30).
