Imada Ready for Final Major of the Year
August 12, 2009

Ryuji Imada heads into the final major of the year looking to build upon an already successful 2009 campain. Imada is making his third consecutive appearance at the PGA Championship, which will be held this year at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, MN.

This is the second time that Hazeltine has hosted the event, the first coming in 2002 when Rich Beem took home the Wanamaker Trohpy.

Imada, who has made the cut in 15 of 20 events in 2009 and has seven Top 25 finishes, ranks 99th on the PGA Tour Money List with $682,562. Imada also remains in the hunt for the FedEx Cup, currently sitting in 81st place.

At the PGA Championship, Imada will be paired with Francesco Molinari and Lee Rinker. The trio will tee off from the first hole at 12:35 pm CDT on Thursday and from the 10th tee at 7:25 am CDT on Friday.
