Displaying steady and consistent play throughout the 2009 season, Ryuji Imada looks to continue his hot streak this week a the 2009 British Open at the famed Turnberry Golf Resort in South Ayshire, U.K. This will mark the second straight appearance at the Open for Imada, who hopes to build off his experience from 2008 when he failed to make the cut.
This is the forth time that Turnberry has hosted the event. The first came in 1977, when Tom Watson won his second British Open title.
Imada, who has made the cut in 14 of 18 events in 2009 and has six Top 25 finishes, ranks 83rd on the PGA Tour Money List with $665,956. Imada also remains in the hunt for the FedEx Cup, currently sitting in 68th place.
At the Open, Imada will be paired with Paul Casey and reigning Masters champion Angel Cabrera. The trio will tee at 9:09 am EDT on Thursday and again at 3:58 am EDT on Friday.
