In his final event before the British Open, Ryuji Imada continued his steady play with a 22nd place finish in the AT&T National at Congressional Golf Club in Bethesda Md. The event was hosted and won by Tiger Woods.
Imada finished the tournament at 2-under par 278 (69-69-66-74) and earned $62,400. Imada’s tournament was highlighted by fifteen birdies, which included six birdies in round three.
Imada, who moved up four spots in the FedEx Cup Standings to the 65th position, now has $665,956 in winnings in 2009. He will tee it up again next at the British Open in Scotland, July 16-19.
