Imada Closes Out FedEx Cup Play in 25th with T17 Finish at THE TOUR Championship

Ryuji Imada shot 2-under par 68 at THE TOUR Championship to finish tied for 17th after carding 6-over par 286 (75-72-71-68) on the weekend. The tournament, held at Atlanta's historic East Lake Golf Club, was the final event of the PGA Tour's 2008 Fed Ex Cup Playoffs. With his106,203 FedEx Cup points, Imada finished 25th.

Imada pocketed $138,600 for the 17th place finish, totaling $2,726,976 in earnings through 23 events this season. He has recorded a victory at the AT&T Classic in May, as well as two second-place finishes and four top-10 finishes overall in 2008.

He will now head into the PGA Tour's Fall Finish, teeing off next at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, N.V. on Oct. 16.
