Imada Puts Best Finish of Season in the Books

Ryuji Imada recorded his fourth Top-25 finish of the 2009 season by finishing tied for 17th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard in Orlando, Fla. Imada began the tournament strong, carding 70 and 66 on the first two days of play respectively, and closed out the weekend with two rounds of 73 for a four-round total of 2-over par 282.

Imada took home $84,000, his largest paycheck of the year. This brings his season earnings to $380,876 through nine events. The finish also moves Imada into 44th place in the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup standings, up five spots from his 49th place rank last week.

Imada will rest this weekend before travelling to Augusta, Ga. for the Masters Tournament, which begins Thursday, Apr. 9.
