In his first east coast event of the 2009 season, Ryuji Imada finished the World Golf Championships - CA Championship tied for 40th. Imada shot a final-day 2-over par 74 at the Doral Golf Resort in Miami to finish the week at 4-under par 284.
The finish earned Imada $58,500 and moved him to 50th on the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup standings with 218 points.
This marks the third straight cut Imada has made this season, and the sixth in seven events. He is currently ninth among all PGA Tour players in putting average, and fifth in total birdies with 116.
Imada will tee off this Thursday at the Transitions Championship in Palm Harbor, Fla.
